Empowering Women in Sri Lanka: The Lanka, Heal Initiative

Lanka, Heal: Empowering Women in Sri Lanka

Lanka, Heal is a faith-based Christian initiative dedicated to empowering disenfranchised women in Sri Lanka, offering support to all, regardless of their background. Originally created to address the aftermath of the Tamil genocide, the project aims to uplift women through three key phases:

Empowerment Through Employment

We provide resources and support for women in existing jobs and businesses such as crafts, sewing, and basket weaving. By supplying necessary materials and training, we help women sustain and grow their livelihoods.

Holistic Health and Wellness

Partnering with organizations like Doctors Without Borders, Acupuncture Without Borders, and local herbalists, we offer comprehensive health and wellness resources. This includes medical care, alternative therapies, and mental health support to ensure overall well-being.

Modern Literacy

We focus on teaching financial, tech, and business literacy to build generational wealth. Starting with tech literacy, we guide women through basic business and financial principles, empowering them to manage and grow their resources effectively.

Lanka, Heal is committed to fostering resilience, independence, and prosperity for women across Sri Lanka, providing them with the tools and support they need to thrive.
